I hired Leighton Construction to build a two-story addition and also to redo my kitchen and all of my bathrooms. We hired Leighton Construction on the recommendation of friends, but even so, after getting an estimate from them, we decided to get a second estimate. After getting the second estimate, we were glad to hire Leighton Construction not only because of our friends’ recommendation, but also because their estimate was considerably lower than the second company’s. After completely removing the old cedar shingles, wrapping the house in Tyvek, and then reshingling and staining our house the color of our choice, we are 100% happy with the work done. At least half a dozen neighbors, as well as the post-woman,have stopped by to tell us how great the house looks. We have continued to use Leighton Construction for other repairs and renovations to classic before 1925 colonial house. We recommend Leighton Construction without hesitation. We feel very lucky to have found them, not only because of the excellent work they have done for us, but for their reliability, their ability to accommodate our schedule when needed, and the renovation guidance they have given us.
